24 or 30 hours per week available!
12 hour Days or Nights, every 3rd wknd coverage
Engage in 1 to 1 interactions for safety
and emotional well-being.
Video monitor patients with behavioral
health needs.
Set up a safe room free of potentially
harmful equipment and supplies.
Assist staff personnel and patients during
escalations and interventions.
Greeting families and patients in triage
and waiting rooms.
Assist with wayfinding (i.e., vending
machines, cafeteria, pharmacy, COVID
testing locations, ED fast-track location,
etc.)
Assist with turnover of rooms (wipe down
bedside cart, bedside table, and computer
keyboard. Wipe down computer and
workstation outside the patient room.)
Bringing patients to rooms as needed.
Supply stocking in patient rooms.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current BLS certification.
Completion of internal organization
behavioral and mental health courses
during orientation.
Hospital experience preferred.
Experience in a work setting with
kids/pediatrics strongly preferred.
Work experience in the following
fields: social work, mental health,
psychology, child development, child-
life, CNA or in lieu of work experience,
pursuing education in these fields
preferred.
